Rio Azul is unique being situated on a pristine unspoilt mangrove forest spanning in excess of 100 square kilometres. The ecosystem forms a paradise where the local population live in synergy with nature. The area is rich in marine and bird life, as well as a diverse variety of flora. With each room having access to their personal motorised boat, you can explore this extraordinary environment which is unique only to Rio Azul guests.
You can also choose to enjoy an abundance of beach activities, immerse yourself in the nature surrounding the lodge OR a getaway where you can just relax under the umbrella with a cocktail and a book all day long.
Rio Azul holiday activities range from walking on pristine beaches to deep sea charter fishing trips to romantic sunset dinners out on our deck. Relax at the pool or swim in the estuary or sea.
